What official sources have said
On 5 November 2025, the U.S. Department of State published Changes to Entry Period for 2027 Diversity Visa (DV) Program (external). That notice said the DV-2027 start date would be announced later. Any later official date replaces informal commentary, including this page.
For context only: USA.gov (external) states that DV-2026 registration ran from 2 October 2024 to 7 November 2024. Previous years are not a schedule for DV-2027.
